Mid-season trends

mid-season-trends

Even though the days of summer are over, we are in mid-season and it is a great time to dress well, after all those extremely hot days are behind us. The heat is present during the day and we can now think about more elaborate pieces and productions for the late afternoon, so it's time to merge the trends we wear in the summer with some of those that will be stronger in the winter.

The look composed of more rustic textures, with earthy tones is a good option. Fabrics such as linen and cotton are great options, with wide pajama-style pants and oversized shirts. Utility or safari models also fit into this combo, with pockets and details, such as rustic buttons, as a differentiator.

Lightweight knits are welcome this mid-season. In a polo neck style, knits look great even at work. They can be layered over basic t-shirts that almost disappear underneath, for those looking to isolate the knitwear from the body due to sweat or discomfort. Worn with tailored shorts or traditional cut jeans, they create a more sophisticated look, but for those looking for style, more open weaves, such as crochet, opt for a cooler look.

The vertical stripes are not left out. In shirts with a Cuban collar, those that are more unpretentious and open, made with fabrics such as linen and light jacquard create a fresh look for the day on weekends. They appear in finer patterns combined with thicker stripes or even worked into the fabric, such as knitted and knitted. Stripes are a classic in men's fashion and combined with more modern pieces, they get a twist that makes all the difference!

Non-common fabrics in men's fashion have been gaining ground in recent seasons. Previously more restricted to women's wardrobes, they now appear in pieces for men with a lot of personality. International brands have been betting on this unisex approach for years and little by little Brazilian fashion is also embracing macramé, laise and other fabrics with more open weaves. Prints and colors participate in this moment, such as animal print and shades of pink and purple.

For those who want to take advantage of the good sales phase that is already out there, that off-season, styles such as Old Money (the one with a sophisticated and rich tone) and minimalism, which today can be called Quiet Luxury, will continue trending in men's fashion. If we can point out something important here, it is that these two styles are part of the classics of men's fashion and deserve to always be valued! It's worth it!
