Boots: A good choice for the winter

When the weather starts to change, in addition to the desire to wear new pieces and new trends, there is a need for more functional clothes, and in the case of winter, warmer clothes. And it's not because the cold days are coming that style will be left aside, winter outfits can be much more interesting in the colder seasons, where we can use impressive coats and accessories.
If there's something that is typical of autumn and winter, it's boots. But in men's fashion, boots always end up being an extra item, not basic, easy-to-choose footwear. There are those who always use it, with lots of style and functionality. Not all boots are combat boots, long and full of eyelets! Just like shoes, there are several categories and models of boots that can easily adapt to all styles, from the most basic to the most elaborate! When we talk about boots, we automatically think of a high, elongated ankle, when in fact there are different lengths of boots.
Starting with the shorter shaft and the most basic model, we have the Chelsea, which as its main feature has an elastic band on the side, eliminating the need for laces and zippers to wear. Chelsea boots can have a round or square toe, be more minimalist or be made from materials ranging from leather, suede or patent leather. A great choice to start with! The Chelsea model initially emerged to be used for riding and is still used for this activity today.
Chukka boots are a very basic low-top model! As if it were a more elongated shoe. Ideal for any occasion, including less formal corporate looks. The laces are shorter and usually only have four holes. Can be worn with jeans or chino pants, which are tighter and tapered.
The Oxford boot model, like the shoe, follows the same structure: there are not many seams and from the toe to the upper (where the boot is closed) there are no cutouts, one entire piece. More discreet than the Chukka, with a thinner sole and also great for corporate looks, but with a more formal and traditional feel.
Another model named after the shoe is the Derby boot, which has more cutouts and a more modern look. Treated or lighter soles are common here, a great option for walking and jeans. For those who work with cooler looks, Derby can be a great choice!
Combat boots are more casual models, but they are very versatile for winter. In colder places, combat boots help keep warm, as they can be tucked into your pants with taller, thicker socks. The model, which has always been linked to youth and rock, is footwear that follows all trends, can be made in different types of material, colorful, with eyelets, zippers and patches. For those looking for basic boots to wear for a long time, the tip is to opt for classic brands and genuine leather, without applications, just simple laces.
If you still have doubts about which boot model best suits your style and everyday life, start with the more traditional models. The great truth is that a quality boot can be part of your look for years and be a differentiator in your look!
