It was a popular live voting that happened in an event during Carnival time. In the party promoted by Brazilian journalist Cacau Menezes, Vanessa Vailatti went to the catwalk with other 10 participants, and was the most cheered for: ‘hearing those 15.000 people screaming my name was definitely one of the most special moments I have ever lived’, says de 22-year-old blonde.

After being crowned the winner of ourbeauty contest (live voting stage), how do you feel? It took a while for me tounderstand what was going on. I feel flattered and very happy for insisting onsomething I was willing to get.
You have told us some people were not very supportive about this. As amodel, does this bother you? It doesn´t. I have always believed in myself and in my dreams, Ihave always been brave, and I have always tried. I learned how to drawninspiration within me instead of hoping for the approval of others. After all,we all have our own points of view.
Did you imagine you could actually win? I obviously went for it wantingto win, but I was humble, knowing there would be other 10 girls trying the samething. I left home with a unique thought: God knows what is best for me, andwhat will be, will be. I did what I was there to do, I was friendly, and Iinteracted with the audience.
If you could pick the perfect sentence todescribe you, what would it be? "I don’t feel anything more or less, I either like it or Idon’t like it. I don’t know how to feel little by little. I need, and I likeintensity, even if it is illusory – and if it isnt’ like that, I prefer itisn’t at all. I am not interested in mediocre stories, uncorrespondentpassions, and warm people. I only want in my life people who somehow sweatsadrenaline” (Gabriel García Márquez).
What do you do to keep in shape? I always enjoyed exercising.When I was little I used to dance ballet and jazz, after that I started playingvolleyball and handball. When I was 15 I started to go to the gym toweightlift, and it has been a year since I have met my current personal trainer,who looks after my training and my tough diet.
What keeps you going in life? Always believing in myself andnever forgetting from where I come from.
What do you do on your free time? I go out with my friends for agood laugh and lots of fun, I also love cycling.
Do you work with anything else besidesmodeling? I haveworked as a personal trainer about three years ago, and I have also been aphysical education teacher in schools.
Do you study? I study Physical Education.
What are your plans for the future? I think about going out of townafter I graduated, and working with what I love – being a model.
What kind of man turns you on? The ones who know how to keep aninteresting conversation and who can make me laugh.
What do you do when you want to feel sexy? I usually dress something thatvalues my curves, always on heels.
Have you ever hit on a guy in a night out? Oh yes. I first exchange looks tosee if he is also interest. After that, there is nothing better than talking toeach other a bit in order to know ourselves better. It is usually great fun,and it works.
When a guy is trying to impress you, whatkind of things he cannot do? Na hora da conquista, o que um homem não podefazer? Wanting toconquer me with his money, or lying. If there is something I hate is lies, nomatter how big or small.
What do you think about sex on the firstdate? I havealways followed the following principle: why leaving for tomorrow something youcan do today? I live the present. If both are into it, I have no problemsregarding that.
Have you ever dated anyone famous? No.
Which forbidden adventure turns you on themost: having an affair with a married man, having sex with a work colleague, ormaking love in a public space? Definitely making love in a public space.
What do you do when you want to spicethings up in bed? I dress asexy lingerie, put on some music, and sirve quality wine.
Have you ever done anything crazy for love? No.
Can you tell us a bit about your sexualfantasies? I havealways thought about making love in a public place. That is one of my sexualfantasies that I have accomplished, I had sex in a beach once.
Does size matter? It is important, but if the guyis huge and doesn’t know what to do with it, it becomes pointless.
Is there a secret to feel comfortable infront of the cameras? Talking!For me, talking to the photographer before the shooting starts is mandatory.
